What river boating does to a finish
Sacramento boaters have a lot of water to choose from: the American River, the Sacramento River and the Delta beyond it. River water is not lake water. It carries silt that leaves a brown line along the hull and a dull film on the sides. Let it dry in July heat and it gets harder to remove with every trip.
Most local boats spend the week on a trailer or in a storage lot, then go out on Saturday. That rhythm doesn’t leave much time for cleaning. A good detail gets the boat back to a clean starting point, so the quick rinses between trips actually work.
Where we can work on your boat
The easiest setup is a boat on its trailer, in a driveway, side yard or storage lot. We can walk all the way around it and reach the whole hull. Our vans carry their own water and power, so we don’t need a hookup.
Some owners ask about places like Sacramento Marina at Miller Park or the launch areas at Discovery Park. We only work where the marina or launch allows outside service, so please check their rules before you book. We won’t set up on a ramp or dock where it isn’t allowed.
Plenty of Sacramento homes have short driveways or only street parking. If that’s you, a storage lot is often the better spot. Just tell us where the boat is kept and how we get to it.
You don’t have to be there while we work. Many owners leave the boat in storage and get a text when it’s done. We just need the lot’s access details and permission to work there.
