If the lot says no, you can bring the RV home for a day or move it to a spot that allows us. Just tell us the plan and we’ll work around it.
RVs in lots are often parked close together. If we can’t reach one side safely, we’ll tell you before we start instead of skipping it quietly.
What we can include
We build each RV job around what it needs. Common work:
Tell us what matters most. Some owners only want a wash before a trip. Others want the full treatment before the RV goes back into storage for the off-season.
- Hand wash of the body, caps, windows, wheels and tires
- Roof washing where it’s safe to access
- Black streak removal under roof edges, vents and windows
- Awning cleaning when it can be opened and reached safely
- Bug removal from the front cap and windshield after highway trips
- Polish and wax for chalky fiberglass and gelcoat
- Interior: vacuum, surface wipedown, kitchen and bath surfaces, windows, and fabric shampoo where needed
Long summers, big trees, river trips
Sacramento summers are long, hot and sunny, and an RV in an open lot takes all of it. Sun turns gelcoat chalky and dries out seals and decals. Light to moderate oxidation usually polishes out well. Heavy oxidation and cracked or crazed gelcoat may only improve partly, and faded decals can’t be restored. We’ll tell you what to expect before we start.
RVs parked at home under street trees get sap and droppings on the roof and caps, and leaves clog the roof edges and gutters. Trips to the rivers and the Delta add dust, bugs and muddy floors inside. A detail before you leave and another when you get back keeps that from building up.
While we work, we get a close look at the rig. If we notice cracked sealant at the roof edge, loose trim or sun cracks in the tires, we’ll tell you. Finding those in the lot beats finding them on the road. Between details, a cover or a covered space slows sun damage more than anything else.
How pricing works
RV detailing is quoted. Price depends on length and height, how much oxidation and streaking there is, whether you want polish and wax, and how much interior work you want. Send us the RV type, length, location and a few photos for a quote.
Spring, before the first trip, and fall, before the RV goes back into storage, are the most popular times to book. Booking ahead helps, since a big rig takes a full day on our schedule.
RVs are measured in feet, not in sedans, so a quick photo of the length sticker or the listing helps us quote right.
Towing with a truck or SUV? We can detail it the same day. See our mobile detailing options.
